About the Position
The Urban Christian Music & Culture Intern helps The Jesus Show share news, music, and stories from the Urban Christian Music community.
The intern will research artists and new releases, write short blog posts, create social media clips, and help prepare approved content for publishing.
This internship is designed for a student who enjoys music, writing, social media, video, or learning about the media and entertainment industry.
What You Will Do

Research Urban Christian Music news and new releases.

Discover emerging artists and interesting music stories.

Follow verified updates from artists featured on The Roster.

Write short articles, artist updates, and blog posts.

Create short clips from artist media and original TJS videos.
-
Write captions for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
-
Help prepare, schedule, and publish content after it has been approved.

Maintain a list of upcoming releases, artist news, and story ideas.

Confirm names, dates, song titles, credits, and other facts before submitting content.

Give proper credit to artists, photographers, videographers, and other content creators.

The intern may research, write, edit, clip, recommend, prepare, schedule, and publish approved content within the Urban Christian Music & Culture pillar.
All content must receive final editorial and brand approval from The Jesus Show before it is published.
The intern must not:

Publish content without approval.

Share rumors, unverified information, or AI-generated assumptions as fact.

Speak publicly on behalf of The Jesus Show without permission.

Promise artists coverage, playlist placement, interviews, or Roster placement.

Manage artist contracts, business relationships, or unapproved partnerships.

Handle sensitive controversies or crisis communications independently.

Publish unapproved political, theological, legal, or highly sensitive commentary.

Use artist photos, videos, music, or other media without proper permission or credit.
Qualifications

Has a genuine interest in Urban Christian Music and discovering new artists.

Is curious, dependable, organized, and willing to learn.

Can write clearly and follow instructions.

Understands or is willing to learn Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and blog publishing.

Uses social media responsibly.

Can accept feedback and make corrections.

Understands the importance of proper sourcing and artist credit.

Student Eligibility
This internship is open to ambitious high school students who are eager to learn, as well as college students seeking professional experience and portfolio-building opportunities.
Previous professional media experience is not required. Training, guidance, and feedback will be provided.
